Black Walnut Thick Slab
Beautiful natural edge black walnut slabs. Currently being air dried with sealed ends. Harvested in November of 2022. There are 2 pieces cut from the same log and can be butterflied for the right application.
These black walnut slabs have fantastic straight grains with occasional highlights for stunning interest. They were harvested from a wind blown tree in Northern Idaho in November of 2022. The logs were milled to 4" slabs in January of 2023. The ends are sealed to reduce cracking and they are stacked for air drying in a covered space.
